Twitter

Twitter is probably my least favorite of all the big social media sites.  I never thought it to be necessary or appropriate for people my age, always asking myself what they had to say that would be of any value to me.  It really is another site for people to get the word out about their product, or themselves when they want people to know who they are.  It is a great advertising tool, allowing one to easily get in contact with their followers. A person can get tweets to their phone, or as updates on their computer.
     In terms of for Shakespeare, again most of the twitter accounts are for theaters to advertise their plays when they are doing Shakespeare, and keep their fans updated with what is going on.
