Facebook is a great social media tool. This is a site first created for people to share their pictures and connect with friends, and has turned into a way for different businesses and companies to get their words out, and have people learn about Product they offer. Whether this is major businesses such as Sony, or Target, or smaller mom and pop shops, in this day and age, Facebook is a must have if a business wants to get their word out. No longer are newspaper advertisements the way to go. Facebook and Twitter have become the ways to communicate with fans.
Going into this project, I wanted to try and find different sorts of facebook pages created for Shakespeare. Obviously, I knew there would be theatre troupes on Facebook trying to advertise their shows, but didn't know what else I would find until I looked. I realized that there were quite a bit of different and creative pages dedicated to Shakespeare.
